LAUREL, MD - The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) congratulates the following recipients of the 2023 AIUM/ARRT Professional Education and Growth Scholarships:

The grant program, supported by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and the AIUM Future Fund, provides each AIUM member recipient with $500 to be used for continuing education. Recipients use the funds to cover conference registrations and travel costs, certification examination fees, and other educational expenses.
“Lifelong learning is important to everyone in medicine,” said AIUM CEO Glynis Harvery, CAE. “This program supports sonographers and sonography students as they further their knowledge and skills to improve patient care. Each of these recipients have demonstrated a dedication to medical ultrasound and continued education and we are excited to help them succeed.”
The AIUM/ARRT Professional Education and Growth Scholarship program is a yearly program open to AIUM members who must complete an application that is reviewed and scored by committee.
The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine is a multidisciplinary medical association of more than 9,000 physicians, sonographers, scientists, students, and other healthcare professionals. Established in the early 1950s, AIUM is dedicated to empowering and cultivating a global multidisciplinary community engaged in the use of medical ultrasound through raising awareness, education, sharing information, and research.
