AIUM Membership / Automatic Renewal


When you sign up for AIUM membership, you can opt into automatic annual membership renewal. If you decide to opt in, you can turn off this automatic renewal feature at any time from your AIUM Account, linked here.

1. Agreement

These terms and conditions govern the automatic renewal of your membership with the AIUM. By becoming a member, enrolling in our automatic renewal program, and authorizing the AIUM to charge your saved credit card on file, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Automatic Renewal

If you opt to participate in automatic membership renewal, your membership will automatically renew at the end of its term unless you notify us of your intention to cancel your membership. The renewal will be for the same duration as the initial membership term unless otherwise specified. 

3. Notification

We will notify you via email prior to the automatic renewal date. This notification will include details of the upcoming renewal, including any changes to membership fees or terms.

4. Payment

By enrolling in the automatic renewal program, you authorize us to charge the renewal fee to the payment method on file unless you cancel your membership before the renewal date. We encourage you to constantly update your payment method information or cancel your account should you wish to discontinue your annual membership.

We use a third-party payment service in lieu of directly processing your credit card information. By submitting your credit card information, you grant the AIUM the right to store and process your information with the third-party payment service, which may change from time to time; you agree that the AIUM will not be responsible for any failures of the third party to adequately protect such information. All financial matters regarding your information are subject to the conditions of the third-party payment service provider's terms of service and privacy policies. You acknowledge that we may change the third-party payment service and move your information to other service providers that encrypt your information using secure socket layer technology (SSL) or other comparable security technology.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership and opt out of automatic renewal at any time before the renewal date. Once you opt in and save a credit card on file, YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS CONTINUOUS UNTIL YOU CANCEL or until your credit card expires. To cancel, please contact our membership department by emailing membership@aium.org or calling us at 800-638-5352 or following the instructions provided in the renewal notification.

We may terminate your membership, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms of Service or our policies, is harmful to our business interests, or for an inactive account.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions, including membership fees, at any time. We also reserve the right to initiate special incentive pricing for membership, and other programs, which may be limited, at our sole discretion, to existing users or new users. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance, and you will have the opportunity to cancel your membership if you do not agree to the revised terms.

7. Refunds

Refunds for automatic renewal charges can be issued in accordance with our standard refund policy. Please refer to our refund policy for more information.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Maryland. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maryland.
