Course Overview

This series delves into key areas of maternal-fetal imaging, including fetal echocardiography and abnormal findings, and their clinical implications. Each session will provide an in-depth review of imaging guidelines, clinical indications, and the components required for high-quality ultrasound examinations. Highlights include focused discussions on obstetric guidelines, advanced imaging for RASopathies in collaboration with genetic insights, and strategies for managing complex multiple gestations. Through real-world case studies, participants will explore imaging abnormalities, refine diagnostic accuracy, and expand their clinical knowledge.

Who Should Attend?

OB/GYN sonographers, OB/GYN physicians, and radiologists and other healthcare professionals involved and/or interested in maternal fetal medicine.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply current AIUM obstetric imaging Practice Parameters, including fetal echocardiography, to ensure comprehensive and accurate diagnostic evaluations.

  • Identify and interpret abnormal imaging findings, particularly those associated with RASopathies, by integrating advanced ultrasound techniques with genetic insights for improved prenatal diagnosis.

  • Understand diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision-making in complex multiple gestations through hands-on case studies, advanced imaging techniques, and multidisciplinary approaches.
