The 11- to 14-Week Scan: A Comprehensive Approach

The aim of this course is to provide a comprehensive review of fetal assessment at 11-14 weeks. The speakers shall present the latest data on the feasibility of carrying out a full anatomic assessment and how to approach fetal evaluation in a systematic manner. There will be discussion of normal anatomy in the context of the developmental limitations at this point in gestation. The latest sonographic markers for screening the fetus for structural abnormalities of the brain, heart, and face shall be discussed. In addition, the speakers will present the lesions that should not be missed, those that might be missed, and those that cannot be detected at 11-14 weeks.
