Pediatric Breast Ultrasound: What Do We Need to Know?

Most pediatric breast masses are benign and related to either breast development or benign neoplastic processes. Ultrasound is the imaging study of choice for breast masses in pediatric and teen patients. This is an overview of the imaging appearances of the normal developing breast as well as reviewing the imaging findings of a spectrum of breast diseases in this age group.
