Fetal Neurosonography With Postnatal Correlation

As the central nervous system development is progressive throughout gestation, this course was designed to present a stepwise approach to the evaluation of intracranial abnormalities at different gestational ages and to compare the prenatal findings to postnatal imaging and diagnosis. Common intracranial malformations will be reviewed and compared with postnatal imaging. Complementary imaging modalities will be discussed including abdominal and endovaginal ultrasound, volume-based imaging and MRI.
